Twenty-four Colombian exporters are scheduled to attend the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit convention in October.

Exporters of avocados, goldenberries, pineapples, herbs and other commodities will exhibit at the show’s Colombia Pavilion, according to a news release from Bogota, Colombia-based Proexport Colombia.

The Colombia Pavilion will include two baristas serving Colombian coffee and fruit smoothies.

“We are eager to share the wonderful treasure in food our country has to offer,” Maria Claudia Lacouture, president of Proexport Colombia, said in the release. “Our experienced exporters are looking forward to exploring opportunities in the U.S. and other markets and developing new relationships.”

The pavilion will include at least seven companies that export fresh herbs; 10 that export goldenberries; nine that export avocados; and three that export pineapples.
