Colorful Harvest, Salinas, Calif., donated Musical Harvest strawberry-themed guitars that country music stars signed at the Academy of Country Music Awards April 1.

The guitars will be auctioned to raise funds for the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network and the academy’s Lifting Lives charity later this year, according to a news release.

Doug Ranno, Colorful Harvest founder and chief operating officer, took his passion for produce and music to form Musical Harvest, which produces the custom guitars.

Musical Harvet guitars have been auctioned at other events to raise money for organizations including the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network and the Florida Strawberry Growers Association’s Rod Hutto Memorial Scholarship, according to the release.

Signatures of the strawberry-themed guitars from the country music awards show include The Eli Young Band and Scotty McCreery, among others.

Stars also enjoyed Colorful Harvest chocolate-covered strawberries and heirloom vegetables in their dressing rooms.
