The coupons are valid through July 31 and are to appear on 3-, 5-, 8- and 10-pound bags of fresh potatoes under the Green Giant Fresh, Klondike Brands and SunFresh labels. Some private labels will also carry them, according to a news release.
Starting in March, Country Crock — a Unilever North America brand — will begin a television and digital marketing campaign featuring the spreads in homemade mashed potatoes.
Potandon Produce, Idaho Falls, Idaho, will have point-of-sale materials available to highlight the promotion at store level. An e-mail and online social media program is also planned.
