The site, www.moonlitfarms.com, bears the name of Crescent’s brand, according to a news release from the Edinburg, Texas-based company.
The site features recipes, information on how and where Crescent’s watermelons and onions are grown and links to Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
“We built MoonlitFarms.com in order to provide our customers and consumers with a direct connection to us, our farms and our products,” Amy Gates, co-owner of Crescent, said in the release. “At the same time, with this new website, and throughout all our communications, we want to showcase the versatility of both watermelons and onions and create new culinary opportunities for consumers.”
The new website includes a link to information for produce industry professionals.
Frontera Produce Ltd. spun off its onion and watermelon business to form Crescent in January.
