Crowley Maritime Corp., has relocated its Guatemala liner and logistics groups into a new office facility in Guatemala.
The new Guatemala City facility is modeled after the Jacksonville, Fla.-based logistics provider’s headquarters.
It sports an open layout and brings Crowley’s liner and logistics divisions together in one building, according to a news release.
Crowley plans to continue operating a nearby warehouse but is handling customer support and sales functions from the new office, according to the release.
“The open office workspace is still a novel concept in Central America, but it continues to work remarkably well for us as a company,” Steve Collar, Crowley’s senior vice president and general manager for Latin America liner services, said in the release. “Moving into our new office in Guatemala allows us to more closely align the liner and logistics business units and better serve the needs of our customers.”
