The Crunch Pak items and Brothers-All-Natural freeze-dried fruit crisps are showcased during the third week of the campaign, starting Sept. 26. Through a series of weekly challenges, the campaign — “D-Lightful Living: Animate Your Daily Routine” — addresses health habits from using sunscreen to brushing teeth. Food will appear in three of the weeks, a company spokesperson said.
The product references appear with tips for parents and more information at the company’s Disney Living Facebook page. Weekly challenges can be downloaded, as can Disney’s nutritional guidelines.
The program runs through the end of November.
Each week, Disney Consumer Products plans to feature a video challenge from its “Go-To Mom,” Kimberley Clayton Blaine, a blogger and licensed child therapist. She’ll present tips and product suggestions.
Cashmere, Wash.-based Crunch Pak offers apple slices in packaging that features Disney characters Phineas & Ferb. Foodles come in four varieties; packaging features Disney princess characters and Mickey Mouse.
