The show, set for March 31 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, will be broadcast by Nickelodeon at 8 p.m. EST.
Cashmere, Wash.-based Crunch Pak donated 24 boxes, which should feed more than 200 performers and 150 staff, according to a news release.
“We are happy to provide our products to another award show because it exposes us to a whole new audience,” Tony Freytag, senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release. “We know the people involved in these productions want to have healthy snacks backstage and apples are perfect for rehearsal and show time.”
For the Feb. 26 Academy Awards, Crunch Pak donated 32 boxes of apples and other fresh fruit snacks. At an event for which other companies paid thousands of dollars to place products in gift bags or buffets, Crunch Pak could not announce its participation until the day after.
