Sliced-apple specialist Crunch Pak has hired a business analyst.
Jenni James joins Cashmere, Wash.-based Crunch Pak following several years as an agribusiness professor at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif., according to a Crunch Pak news release.
The position is a new one at Crunch Pak.
Before joining Cal Poly, James was an assistant professor in the agricultural economics and rural sociology department at The Pennsylvania State University. She also has worked as a private consultant on agriculture-related ventures.
“We are at a critical juncture in the growth of our business, and it’s imperative that we have educated, experienced staff managing the multiple sources of market research we invest in annually,” Tony Freytag, Crunch Pak’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release. “Jenni’s leadership will benefit us as we work to design and implement new reporting systems and structures.”
