Cashmere, Wash.-based Crunch Pak will send 35 boxes of a variety of fresh-cut products for the show, which will be held in Las Vegas and broadcast on Fox, according to a company news release.
This will be the fourth awards show Crunch Pak has supplied product for in 2012. The others were the 84th Annual Academy Awards, the Kids’ Choice Awards and the Billboard Music Awards.
“We enjoy providing our products to these shows because it exposes us to a new audience,” Tony Freytag, the company’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release. “The artists and crew want healthy food backstage and apples are a perfect grab-and-go snack.”
Crunch Pak’s products are eaten by more than 500 performers, presenters and attendees at each show, the company estimates.
In 2013, Crunch Pak expects to add the Miss America Pageant to the list.
