DMA Solutions, Inc., Irving, Texas, has launched “Honor Your Fresh Hero,” to give the produce industry a way to thank important people in their lives. Participants can also donate to Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools.”
“Fresh heroes seems like a fitting way for our team, and hopefully others, to express gratitude to those that have inspired a passion and appreciation for fresh produce,” said Dan’l Mackey Almy, president and chief executive officer of DMA Solutions. “I can’t think of a better time or a better way to commemorate our fresh heroes than during United Fresh and with a donation to the salad bar campaign, a cause that our industry enthusiastically supports.”
Produce industry professionals can honor their hero and donate to Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools until July 4 by submitting information about the hero with an optional photo at http://info.dma-solutions.com/fresh-heroes or by visiting DMA Solutions’ booth No. 1458 during United Fresh in Chicago, June 10-13.
At the conclusion of the campaign, DMA will put all of the fresh hero stories and photographs in a video commemorating the campaign that will be shared with fresh produce industry members and heroes along with an announcement of the total funds raised.
DMA Solutions hopes to raise $10,000 to support “Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools.”
