Damco is moving its headquarters from Copenhagen, Denmark to The Hague, Netherlands.
The moving process will start toward the end of 2012 and the transition should be complete by Spring 2013, according to a news release.
“In The Hague, we will be closer to many of our customers, our main air and sea carriers, Europe’s biggest transportation hubs, as well as our competition and the kind of additional international logistics experience we’ll be looking to hire as we continue to grow,” Rolf Habben-Jansen, Damco chief executive officer said in the release.
This move will allow Damco to further optimize its cost structure.
All positions are expected to be affected by the move, according to the release.
