A cold chain management technology provider is launching a Mexican affiliate.

Pleasanton, Calif.-based DeltaTRAK plans to open Guadalajara-based DeltaTRAK Internacional Mexico, which will handle all of the company’s sales, technical support, service and recycling programs in Mexico, according to a news release.

“DeltaTRAK Mexico will allow us to better support our current client base in Mexico and will also allow us to further expand our reach into this growing region,” Frederick Wu, president and chief executive officer of DeltaTRAK, said in the release. “With DeltaTRAK Mexico’s regional knowledge and localized expertise we will be able to better support our customer’s cold chain and food safety solution needs in this region,” he said in the release.

Oscan Bon has been named executive director of DeltaTRAK Mexico. Bon said that in addition to Mexico, DeltaTRAK hopes to expand into Central America.

DeltaTRAK provides cold chain management, environmental monitoring and food safety services for food, pharmaceutical, life sciences and chemical industries. Products include temperature, humidity and pH monitoring and recording devices, such as data loggers, wireless systems and professional thermometers.
