Los Angeles author and registered dietitian Patricia Bannan appears in a new video on the California Table Grape Commission website that demonstrates three grape recipes.
The recipes are new and include:
- grilled salmon tacos with grape pico de gallo;
- banh mi-style flatbread with grapes; and
- grape, feta and mint quinoa salad.
It’s part of the Fresno, Calif.-based commission’s video series, “The One Ingredient that Can Change Everything.” Recipes can also be downloaded at the site.
Bannan wrote the book “Eat Right When Time is Tight.” In the video she recommends including fresh, seasonal fruit in all salads.
She is part of a group of registered dietitians who have worked with the California Table Grape Commission on videos and recipes. Among them are Dawn Jackson Blatner, Heather Jones, Sarah-Jane Bedwell and Tara Gidus.
