Mastronardi Produce, Kingsville, Ontario, is welcoming back Chris Veillon as the director of marketing.
Veillon returned to the company in late May, after leaving in August 2010.
“It feels great to be back with the company,” Veillon said. “It’s exciting. I’ve been gone for a couple of years and I’m looking forward to seeing the new changes with Mastronardi.”
Veillon was previously with the company for three years and was director of marketing position before moving to Scholar’s Choice, a Canadian retailer of children’s toys for educators.
“I missed the Mastronardi family and to be honest I really missed the produce business,” he said.
“We are happy about his return back to the family and are excited about the creative thinking he brings to our marketing team,” said Nancy Pickersgill, event planning and communication manager, in an e-mail.
Veillon is looking forward to the future projects with the company and seeing the progress with the Zima grape tomato.
