Duda Farm Fresh Foods Inc. is introducing holiday-themed packaging for celery.
The Oviedo, Fla.-based Duda, the fresh division of A. Duda & Sons Inc., is releasing a line of seasonal packaging that’s designed to help spur impulse buys during critical holiday sales period, said Nichole Towell, director of marketing in Duda’s Salinas, Calif., office.
The line features packs of 30-count celery stalks, 18-count celery hearts and 8-ounce celery sticks.
“We developed Celery Celebrations to offer consumers the celery products that they buy most often during the holiday season from Thanksgiving to Super Bowl — whole stalk celery, celery hearts and celery sticks,” Towell said. “This winning combination of products will elevate the celery category by adding shelf appeal at the point of purchase and foster impulse buys.”
Duda plans to ship Celery Celebrations to store shelves from Nov. 1 to Jan. 31, Towell said.
