Durand-Wayland, Inc., LaGrange, Ga., has hired Mark Adamczyk for the newly created vice president of business development position.

Adamczyk will be responsible for supporting the Durand sales department and the company's growth through the introduction of technology offerings, assistance on packinghouse and dealer initiatives and identifying new market opportunities for the company's packinghouse equipment, according to a news release.

“Mark has 25 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles within sales, marketing and operational roles at several companies," company president Brooks Lee said in the release. "In his most recent position, Mark was vice president, operations allowing for extensive customer interaction with large program rollouts and time sensitive deliveries.”
