San Juan Bautista, Calif.-based Earthbound Farm has partnered with the blog/consumer brand The Produce Mom as an official Earth Month partner.
The Indianapolis, Ind.-based Indianapolis Fruit Company’s The Produce Mom will join Earthbound’s “Every Cart Counts” campaign.
The campaign is intended to entice consumers to shop with a plan. Consumers are encouraged to take notice of packaging and make purchases that will have several applications to eliminate food waste.
“When other young moms see the Every Cart Counts campaign in action on The Produce Mom, it will demonstrate that sustainable, earth-friendly and organic choices are in reach and highly-accessible for the everyday consumer,” Lori Taylor, “The Produce Mom,” said in a news release. “Simple modifications to our everyday habits can make a big difference in the wellbeing of our planet and our bodies.”
