After five years in the marketing manager position, Lisa Davis has been promoted to director of business development at Edge Sales and Marketing.
Davis has 10 years of corporate and strategic communications experience. Before coming to Edge Sales and Marketing in Pleasanton, Calif., she was a partner at Blu-Creative, a boutique advertising and design firm in Salinas, Calif. Davis developed marketing programs and provided strategic advising for Blu-Creative’s clients.
“Lisa’s extensive professional experience coupled with her intimate understanding of our clients, customers and the produce industry will serve her well in further developing our current and new business for Edge Sales and Marketing,” said president Brad Raffanti, in a news release.
In her new position, Davis will continue to expand Edge’s marketing by acquiring new business and growing existing business.
She is responsible for the Raley’s banners business, made up of Bel Air and Nob Hill. She will also manage Save Mart banners, including Lucky’s and Food Maxx.
Davis was vice chair for Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit Committee 2013 and will also chair the committee next year. She serves on the United Fresh Produce Association Marketing Expertise Committee and is a committee member for the Northern California Chapter of Fresh Produce and Floral Council.
