Exeter hoped to satisfy some of the increased needs after Hurricane Sandy, according to a news release.
After Hurricane Sandy there was an increasing demand for produce at food banks. City Harvest collects excess food from multiple areas in the food industry. After collecting the food, City Harvest delivers it to more than 600 food programs in New York City.
