FMI touts supermarket value to consumers

The Food Marketing Institute and the Matrix Group have released a new video highlighting the value that supermarkets bring to consumers.

A part of Arlington, Va.-based FMI’s “Supermarket Fact Video Series,” the video https://ww illustrates through inforgraphics and animation why supermarkets have experienced a 1% net profit marketing consistently over the past 30 years, according to a news release from FMI.

The FMI supermarket facts video series is the result of the creative collaboration between FMI and Matrix Group, a Washington, D.C.-based agency specializing in Web design and e-marketing trends. The first video in the series examined the number of times customers go grocery shopping each week, according to the news release.
