After successful test runs in Philadelphia and New York, Rosenhayn, N.J.-based fresh-cut specialist F&S will sell its Sam’s Fresh Salsa throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic, according to a company news release.
Sam’s Fresh Salsa originated with the salsas F&S made for its company parties and special events, Sam Pipitone, the company’s president and chief executive officer, said in the release.
“Sam’s Fresh Salsa was introduced to the test market areas in 2013 and has become an extremely successful brand in those markets, with tremendous consumer loyalty,” Pipitone said. “Sam’s Fresh Salsa is an all-natural product, which makes it a perfect extension of the freshness and safety commitment we have at F&S Produce Co.”
Sam’s Fresh Salsa is packed in leak-proof, resealable, tamper-evident containers. The product comes in mild, medium, hot and mango/pineapple varieties.
