First lady Michelle Obama will give the keynote address at the Third Childhood Obesity Summit hosted by the Partnership for a Healthier America.
The first lady, honorary chairwoman for the Partnership for a Healthier America, will speak March 14 at the Washington Hilton Hotel, Washington, D.C., during the 2014 Building a Healthier Future Summit, according to a news release.
The two-day conference will bring together philanthropic, government, private sector and academia to discuss solutions that will help end America’s childhood obesity crisis, according to the release. The event will also feature PHA honorary vice chairs, Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., and William Frist, former Republican Senate Majority Leader.
