Fresh Alliance plans to increase production as it enters its second year of operation of shipping Red Wagon Farms-branded Mexican produce.
The Carmel, Calif.-based grower-shipper of hothouse and field tomatoes, bell peppers and cucumbers is eyeing aggressive growth for the next year, according to a news release.
The company is less than two weeks away from the start of its sweet bell pepper program.
It plans to expand its seasonal organic heirloom tomato offerings and intends to continue supplying cucumbers and tomatoes on the vine including grapes, romas and beefsteak varieties, J.C. Myers, managing partner, said in the release.
Fresh Alliance distributes product via distribution facilities in Nogales, Ariz., McAllen, Texas, and Salinas, Calif.
