Freshline Foods vice president Noel Brigido was honored with the Ontario Produce Marketing Association’s Cory Clack-Streef Produce Person of the year award.
Brigido has worked at the Toronto, Canada-based fresh-cut produce company since it opened more than 15 years ago. He stayed with Freshline after a change in ownership in 2003, when the Bamford Family Group of Companies acquired the company.
Brigido was recognized by the association for his industry reputation in product development. Packaging and food processing equipment manufacturers regularly contact him for product testing and integration into Freshline’s customer base, according to a news release.
“His product development expertise is a result of years of experience, following market trends and anticipating consumer demand by staying in touch with customers on a regular basis,” according to the release.
