Chef Douglas Bond recently joined fresh-cut processor Freshway Foods, Sidney, Ohio, as the new chef and product development manager.
“Doug is a talented chef with a proven track record of successful products in both the foodservice and retail channels,” said vice president, Dan Purdy, in a news release.
Bond has culinary leadership experience, working for well-known brands. He was previously executive chef at Papa John’s International, and director of culinary operations for Chili’s Grill and Bar. Bond is also a member of the Research Chefs Association.
