Freshway Foods is releasing a new salad line.

The Sidney, Ohio-based fresh-cut processor is rolling out is The Culinary Garden, what it calls a gourmet line.

The line features Asian salad, hearty blend, Asian coleslaw, Asian apple coleslaw and Tuscany blend varieties.

Available in 4-count 3-pound bags, the cartons provide 24 8-ounce servings, according to a news release.

The new salads offer dynamic flavors, including arugula, dandelion, savoy cabbage and snow peas, said Dan Purdy, Freshway’s vice president of sales and marketing. The salad line should help consumers looking for bold flavors and health-conscious options on menus, Purdy said in the release.

Freshway launched The Culinary Garden in late March. It distributes the products to foodservice customers east of the Mississippi River, from Boston to Miami.
