Frieda’s specialty lemon bags a PMA Impact finalist

Los Alamitos, Calif.-based Frieda’s is one of 24 companies named finalists for the packaging award. There were 67 entries. Winners are scheduled to be announced Oct. 18 at PMA Fresh Summit in New Orleans.

Frieda’s specialty lemon bags were introduced in the spring, according to a news release. The colors are bright yellow, green and purple. A clear panel displays the fruit inside. A flat-bottom design keeps the handled bags upright for merchandising on citrus tables. Instructions and recipe recommendations appear on the label.

Frieda’s will exhibit at PMA Fresh Summit booth 3039.
