Frieda’s Inc. has good volume and supply of Hatch chilies, which are back in season August through September.

The company also assists retailers in a Hatch chili roasting program.

“We have worked with many of our retail partners on their Hatch chili roasting events in the past few years, and shoppers just love them,” said Karen Caplan, president and CEO of Frieda’s Inc., in a news release. “In addition to the ‘chili heads’ who bust the door for them every year, new fans are showing up and curious foodies are stopping by.”

Hatch chilies are grown exclusively in the Mesilla Valley near Hatch, New Mexico.

Frieda’s offers four levels of heat for Hatch chilies — mild, medium, hot and extra hot. The peppers come in 25-pound cases.
