Lerma Giumarra Nogales, Rio Rico, Ariz., has added Eddie Lerma to its sales staff.

Lerma comes to Giumarra Nogales with 15 years of produce experience, according to a company news release. Most recently, he worked for Star Produce, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, as head of quality control.

“We are very enthusiastic about what he brings to the table with his extensive knowledge of our core commodities. He is adapting well to our systems and we look forward to seeing him grow with our division,” Gil Munguia, division manager of Giumarra Nogales, said in the release.

At Giumarra, Lerma will handle customer accounts in the vegetable and melon sections.

Giumarra Nogales imports winter and spring produce grown and packed in Mexico.
