Nature’s Way donated more than 1.8 million pounds of produce in 2013.

The Faison, N.C., gleaning organization donates the produce, mostly russet, red, white and yukon gold potatoes, to the Society of St. Andrew, Big Island, Va. The non-profit organization works with growers, produce handlers, food banks and volunteers to help supply food to those in need. For more than 10 years, Nature’s Way has been sending the potatoes to the Society of St. Andrew, which coordinates the transportation of the produce.
