The first tournament was on June 3 at the Wentachee Golf & Country Club and the second tournament was on June 17 at the Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima. The tournament was sponsored by Wilber Ellis and DuPont, according to a news release.

“It’s great to catch up with industry friends on the golf course,” Peter Verbrugge, tournament chairman for the Yakima tournament, said in the release. “The Foundation golf tournament gives us the opportunity to join together in support of the industry’s charity. As one of the organization’s first board members, it also provides me an opportunity to reflect each year on how far we’ve come.”

At the Wenatchee Tournament, the AgroFresh team of Greg Lyon, Walt Hough, Todd Fryhover and Ross Riedinger won first place with the lowest net score. The DECCO team of Brandon Hobson, Mike Sandmann and Chad Christopherson was the lowest gross score team.

The Yakima Tournament’s top place low net winner was Sage Fruit Company’s Steve Clement, Peter Verbrugge, Mike Van Pelt and Doug Hearron. Wilbur Ellis’ Darrin Belton, Caleb Belton, Shawn Phelps and Derrick Phelps won first with the lowest gross score.
