Henningsen Cold Storage promotes engineer

Henningsen Cold Storage Co., has promoted Paul Henningsen to chief operating officer.

Paul Henningsen Henningsen In his new role, he will direct, administer, and coordinate the Hillsboro, Ore.-based company’s daily operational activities, according to a news release.

Henningsen started in 1987 in the engineering department and since then, was vice president of corporate development and engineering.

In that position, he developed, constructed and managed the company’s programs and capital projects, acquisitions, expansions and engineering services, according to the release.

Henningsen is also president and chairman of Rose City Sand & Gravel (a Henningsen subsidiary) and is active in industry organizations including the Global Cold Chain Alliance and is a board member of the World Food Logistics Organization.

In the new company position, he reports to Michael Henningsen, president and chairman.

“Paul has a keen sense for where we can best strengthen our leadership in other departments as our company grows,” Michael Henningsen said in the release.
