Anders Ludvigson, executive vice president of Swedish company AB Ludvig Svensson, set out on the adventure with a small film crew to explore some of the extreme climates where his company’s textile products are used.

The products are scheduled to be featured at the Cultivate14 trade show for the horticulture industry July 12-15 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio.

“Together with our partners, we’re trying to create a working environment where the common goal is better growing — growing in ways that are efficient with natural resources and lucrative for the grower,” Ludvigson said in a news release.

Drought conditions in California are just one example, Ludvigson said, of a how his company’s products can help greenhouse growers increase yields and contain costs.

At the Cultivate14 show in Columbus, Ludvigson’s company will show its product line, complete with new names to represent the climate zones for which they are designed.

“These make it easier to choose the right screen, increasing efficiency for the grower’s operation,” according to the news release. “The names of the five families are: Harmony, Luxous, Obscura, Solaro and Tempa.”
