Hobgoblins, surprises at Sunlight PMA booth

Sunlight International is adding a Hobgoblin photo booth to its exhibit this year at the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit.

At the event, the company’s grape paninis are a finalist for the PMA Sensory Experience award. The tasting competition is judged by children as well as adults.

The trade show’s expo is Oct. 19-20 in New Orleans. Sunlight International, scheduled for booth 1741, is the marketing arm of McFarland, Calif.-based table grapes grower-shipper Jakov P. Dulcich & Sons.

The company plans to unveil a surprise Sunday morning, Oct. 20, according to a news release.

Hobgoblin is the theme of Sunlight’s Halloween packaging and promotions. Booth visitors will be able to have photos taken and share them across social media sites. “These photos will let people share the party with their friends and relatives in real-time,” Nick Dulcich said in a news release.

Sunlight’s first 500 visitors will receive a custom printed recyclable bag.

Sunlight International also planned improvements to its wine and cheese display. Other booth attractions were to include Santa Claus’ helper.
