Luke Anderson, a new field representative for Holtzinger Fruit, Yakima, Wash., is working to drive up returns for independent fruit growers across the state. He will be based in the company’s Yakima office, according to a news release.
Holtzinger president, David Lawrence, said in the release that the addition of Anderson to the company’s field staff would benefit not only Holtzinger but the independent growers it serves. Holtzinger packs, ships and markets fruit for independent growers in Washington.
Lawrence said in the release that only people who have pertinent experience, common sense and “over the top dedication to growers” are selected to serve as field representatives for Holtzinger.
Anderson’s firsthand knowledge of farming — gained while he was growing up in a farming family — provides him with the savvy required to get the job done for Holtzinger’s grower customers, Lawrence said in the release.
