Stretch wrap specialist ITW Muller has introduced a new robotic pallet wrapper.
The GW-4100 wrapper protects product better, wraps more consistently, creates less waste and is more efficient and safe than wrapping product by hand, according to a news release from Chicago-based ITW Muller.
The GW-4100 can produce 37 loads per hour and comes with a telescoping mast for easy mobility and accommodation of loads up to 6’11’’ high.
The wrapper’s built-in film cutter cuts film at completion of wrap cycles and minimizes risk of operator injury. In addition, the GW-4100 has an independent top and bottom wrap pattern selection, with up to 20 wraps available.
Optimized for use with ITW Muller Oriented Film, the film tension can be adjusted electronically from the control panel.
The GW-4100 can perform 300 loads per charge and comes pre-set with 99 wrap cycles.
The machine also offers several safety features including an emergency stop button, safety contact edge and low voltage, which reduces shock risks.
“This GW-4100 is one of our most versatile and efficient technologies available, offering significant savings, high performance and greater safety features,” Michael Klear, ITW Muller’s market development manager, said in the release.
