Indianapolis Fruit Co. Inc. and Sage Fruit Co. LLC are partnering on a promotion for Crazy Apples dubbed “We Go Crazy Everyday!”
Indianapolis Fruit’s recently launched blog The Produce Mom will encourage consumers to post photos containing the “We Go Crazy Everyday!” logo in their settings, according to a news release. Both companies will use their social media pages as well.
Aimed at the children’s market, Crazy Apples come in a bag with cartoon graphics. Flavors include tropical blast, pomegranate grape and bubble gum. The flavorings have zero calories and are applied without sugars or preservatives. Yakima, Wash.-based Sage Fruit began marketing the product late last year.
The promotion is planned for two phases: current product and the fall startup of the new season, according to the release.
