Indianapolis Fruit Co. has added a new brand and packaging to its Garden Cut line of fresh-cut produce.

The new To Go Snack brand is featured on Garden Cut diced celery and other products, according to a news release from Indianapolis-based Indianapolis Fruit.

The company also has updated labels on other Garden Cut products.

To Go Snack products and the newly labeled products began shipping Sept. 22 to hundreds of grocery stores throughout the Midwest.

“We are responding to the growing business segment of fresh-cut, more convenient product,” Indianapolis Fruit’s owner, Mike Mascari, said in the release. “By updating our brand labeling and packaging, we have made Garden Cut product easier to locate in a store’s produce department and in more convenient portion sizes for consumer use.”

The new labels include brighter colors, replacing the green-colored labels that were hard to see against green produce, Antonia Mascari, the company’s marketing manager, said in the release.
