Indy Fruit, Turbana attend Radio Disney event

Indianapolis Fruit Company, Indianapolis, worked with Turbana Corp., Coral Gables, Fla., to promote blogger The Produce Mom at Radio Disney’s Annual Family Fun Day Experience.

The event, which was June 16, is the largest Disney-sponsored event outside of its theme parks. It has been in Indianapolis for seven years, according to a news release.

Photo courtesy Jennifer Bowersock More than 80 organizations participated in the event and The Produce Mom booth was voted as the fan favorite, according to the release.

The Produce Mom booth included Turbana bananas and plantain chip samples and education about Colombian culture.

Attendees could also try Salsa dance lessons and learn information about Turbana’s sustainability work in Colombia, according to the release.

The Produce Mom is the offical blog of the Indianapolis Fruit Company.
