Intelligrated is offering sorting for its warehouse control system.

As an alternative for standalone sorting systems, the Mason, Ohio, company has added tilt-tray and cross-belt sorting software to its system, helping users coordinate in- and outgoing flow, according to a news release.

The sorting systems tie into other aspects of the warehouse control system, like routing, order fulfillment and workload balancing.

“As the heart of many high-throughput operations, it is critical that tilt-tray and cross-belt sorters act as fully integrated components within a facility, not as ‘islands of automation,’” director of corporate marketing and product management Jerry Koch said in the release.
