Jack Brown Produce, home of the Apple Ridge brand, has three new managers at its headquarters in Sparta, Mich.
Maria Rivera is export sales manager for the company and Tom Labbe has been hired as domestic sales manager, according to a news release.
Scott VanHouten is logistics manager, handling both inbound and outbound freight. He previously managed the local Crop Production Services facility, according to the release.
Rivera has 11 years experience with the Mexican, Latin America and Hispanic markets, according to the release. Labbe was previously with Jays Foods, Coca-Cola and Southern Wine & Spirits, working in retail sales, customer service and management.
“All three additions to our staff bring a unique and new approach to the Jack Brown family,” president John Schafer said in the release. “As a grower-owned organization, we are excited that Maria, Tom and Scott have joined us and share our commitment to being the premier source of Michigan Apples for our customers.”
