Air times for the debut and the rebroadcast are 7 a.m. Eastern and Pacific.
In the program, Rod Braga, president, and lifestyle expert Chadwick Boyd will discuss organic farming and vegetable growing with host Olga Villaverde.
They will suggest ways to incorporate whole vegetables — root to stalk — in meals and ways to encourage children to eat more vegetables, according to a news release. Viewers will see preparation of dishes including chard pesto soup and a rainbow chard tart using organic produce.
The episode is part of The Balancing Act’s “Paying tribute to America’s farmers” series.
Braga will talk about his grandmother Josie Braga, the inspiration for the brand; his family’s Soledad farm; and sustainable farming practices.
