An investment company has finished its purchase of packaging manufacturer Keyes Packaging Group Inc.
On June 24, Chicago-based Arbor Investments private equity firm stated it had completed its purchase of the Wenatchee, Wash.-based Keyes Packaging which operates as Keyes Fibre Corp. in Wenatchee and Wrap Pack in Yakima, Wash., according to a news release.
Founded in 1903, Keyes is a leading manufacturer of protective molded fiber and tissue wrap packaging for the food and beverage industries including apples, pears, avocados and citrus.
“We were attracted to Keyes due to the company’s excellent market position, superior product quality and unparalleled reputation in the packaging industry,” Richard Boos, an Arbor spokesman, said in the release.
Arbor’s extensive experience in the food, beverage and packaging industries make the company a strong partner for Keyes, its management team, workers and customers, Rebecca Kalis, Keyes’ president and chief executive officer, said in the release.
