Parsippany, N.J.-based Kings Super Markets LLC won the market’s grand prize valued at $6,500.
The market randomly selected Kings’ name from entrants who visited the market’s booth during the Dec. 10-12 New York Produce Show and Expo in New York.
Contributing $500 store credits to support the market purchases, 13 of the market’s participating merchants sponsored the prize.
Additionally, RLB Food Distributors LP in West Caldwell, N.J., was one of 10 winners eligible to win a $100 Visa gift card if they visited the market before June 30.
The March 11 event consisted of a morning meet and greet, followed by a two-hour market tour which allowed Kings officials to plan their shopping strategy, according to a news release.
