Osborne has over 30 years of experience in cold storage, operations and logistics. He will be in charge of daily operations and add to the level of customer service already offered to Kingston’s customers, according to a news release.
“Kingston’s strong reputation in the produce and storage industries for both product quality and customer service made me immediately interested in the opportunity,” Osborne said in the release. “However, it was their good people and clear vision for growth that solidified my decision to come aboard. I am excited to join the team and utilize my industry knowledge and relationships to help further expansion plans. I am very excited for next season.”
Osborne has held senior-level management positions at other major produce firms, including Southern Specialties and Carb Americas.
“Brian comes to Kingston with an excellent reputation in the industry and a strong track record of management skills and leadership abilities,” general manager Dennis Carrol said in the release. “His experience and network to major customers compliments our continued growth plans.”
