The Ventura, Calif., company has also scheduled an April 15 executive briefing on the product at Microsoft, according to a news release. The new enterprise resource planning software is designed for larger growers and shippers of fresh produce.
“Since the introduction of Linkfresh on Microsoft Dynamics NAV Platform five years ago, LinkFresh has earned a reputation for delivering unprecedented results to fresh food supply chain customers throughout the world,” said Robert Frost, chief executive officer, in the release.
LinkFresh for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 allows growers and shippers to manage production, distribution and marketing through the point of sale across multiple locations, according to the release.
The new enterprise resource planning platform also addresses fresh food supply chain requirements such as promotions, quality control, third-party inventory management, consignments, grower returns and logistics.
