Maglio & Co., Glendale, Wis., donated 6,000 pounds of tomatoes to the Tomato Romp Rotten Tomato Fight in Milwaukee’s East Side neighborhood.
The Tomato Romp is a street festival that raises money for local organizations that support feeding the hungry, according to a news release.
The Sept. 22 festival, now in its sixth year, holds a timed event called the Rotten Tomato Fight. Participants of the fight paid $10, and proceeds were donated to a local food bank.
Maglio & Co. also sponsored Tomato Romp shirts.
