The National Mango Board plans to host another mango ripening web seminar for retailers and importers.

The seminar, scheduled for Aug. 20, plans to focus on proper mango handling and highlight the importance of ripening, according to a news release.

The Orlando, Fla.-based organization is sponsoring the seminar to delve deeper into the mango handling and ripening protocol as well as discuss best practices for mango merchandising in stores, according to the release.

The organization invites importers, buyers, brokers, category managers and merchandisers, wholesalers, distribution center personnel as well as quality assurance people to attend.
