Market Fresh adds business development position in Tampa

Market Fresh, Nixa, Mo., bought the facility from West Central Florida Produce in August. Market Fresh

has upgraded the facility as part of its expansion of its Southeast operations.

Sanchez gained experience in sales at G&K Services, a branded clothing and facility services supplier headquartered in Minnetonka, Minn., where she worked as territory sales representative, according to a news release from Market Fresh.

In her new position, Sanchez will focus on competitive pricing, on-time arrival and quality produce, Market Fresh owner Steve Phipps said in the release. the creation of the business development position is a reflection of Market Fresh’s goal to grow its tomato category, he said.

“We are thrilled to bring on Stephanie to the team in Florida. She has already proven to be a quick learner and her positive and motivated attitude are characteristics we admire,” Phipps said in the release.

Also, Hannah Hughes is the new marketing manager at Market Fresh. Her responsibilities including product branding, advertising, trade shows, social media, and editorial oversight. Hughes works at company headquarters in Nixa, Mo.
