The app is intended for broad use by produce buyers, sales staff and restaurant customers, Tim York, president of the Salinas, Calif.-based foodservice buying and logistics organization, said in a news release.
Compatible platforms include iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows smartphones, along with Android tablets.
Other features include trend and nutritional information plus usage ideas. The company plans to add other features, according to the release.
